Communication should remain relevant, understandable, and optional.

If you subscribe to TrailBloom marketing, we may use your email address, engagement information, purchase history, browsing activity, and preferences to send product information, outdoor content, subscriber benefits, and promotional communications.

Email subscribers may receive an automatic 15% discount across the store without a code, subject to the applicable offer terms. Promotional eligibility does not require us to use more personal information than is reasonably necessary to administer the offer.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe control included in a marketing message. We may still send non-promotional communications when necessary, including order confirmations, delivery updates, security notices, customer service responses, policy updates, and information about an active transaction.

Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, provide services, maintain business and transaction records, meet tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, protect security, and comply with legal requirements.

Retention periods may vary according to the type of information, the sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, whether an account or transaction remains active, applicable limitation periods, operational requirements, and legal duties. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it.

TrailBloom uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access limitations, authentication controls, secure service providers, monitoring, internal procedures, and protected transmission methods where appropriate.

No website, storage system, transmission method, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, using a secure device, and notifying us if you believe an account or transaction has been compromised.

International visitors and data transfers

TrailBloom is based in the United States. If you access our services from another country, your personal information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers, fulfillment partners, technology providers, or business partners operate.

Privacy and data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your country. Where required, we use recognized contractual, organizational, or legal mechanisms intended to provide appropriate protection for international transfers.

If the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with legal-basis requirements applies to our processing, we may rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, protection of vital interests, or consent, depending on the purpose and circumstances.

Legitimate interests may include operating and improving the store, preventing fraud, maintaining security, understanding customer needs, communicating about services, and protecting legal rights, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable individual rights.

Children and family purchases

TrailBloom services are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law.

Outdoor products may be purchased by adults for family use, but an adult should complete the purchase, provide payment and delivery information, review product instructions, and supervise product use according to the item, activity, and environment.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to TrailBloom without appropriate authorization, please notify us so that we can evaluate the information and take appropriate action.

12

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies, business practices, service providers, legal obligations, or privacy requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective or last-updated date.

When a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate, such as a website notice, account notification, or email communication. Your continued use of the services after an update is subject to the revised policy, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.

We encourage you to review this page periodically so that you remain informed about how personal information is handled and the choices that may be available to you.
